The Light Design Systems LC 24-14 is a self powered, twenty-four channel, fourteen scene lighting console with all the features required for a wide variety of stage lighting applications. Two fader preset scenes allow individual level control for each of the twenty-four channels. Twelve matrix scenes allow the operator to assign any or all of the individual channels to a single fader via a simple DIP switch. All fourteen scenes have their own submaster fader. With this combination of scenes, the operator can group any channels that do not require individual level control, such as channels used for "Washes", and set their overall level with one fader. "Specials", which do require individual level control, can be controlled by the preset. In addition to the fader controls, each channel and scene on the LC 24-12 has its own momentary. The manner in which the momentaries function is controlled by the Flash/Solo Selector switches. In the "flash" mode, the button overrides the preset level and bumps the channel or scenes to the level set by the corresponding momentary master fader and at the same time reduce all the other outputs of the desk to zero. The LC 24-14 incorporates a twelve channel chaser for the matrix scenes. The matrix chaser allows the operator to select from six different matrix preset combinations, four chase modes, and forward and reverse. Also included are audio inputs to allow the chase to be run by the bass beat and an input for a single step footswitch. The entire chase function can be monitored by the chaser preview LEDs. With the chaser level control fader set at zero, the speed, the direction, and scene, can be selected without affecting the lights on stage.
Other features include a grand master fader, scene and matrix master faders, momentary master faders, and a dead blackout (DBO) switch with a LED indicator. Designed to be used with the LDS DR-12000 Dimmer Packs, the LC 24-14 will control any dimmer with a 0 to +10v control voltage. Designed and manufactured in Canada, the LC 24-14 provides versatility and reliable service at a very reasonable price.

SPECIFICATIONS:

MASTER SECTION: A grand master fader and black out switch with LED indicator control overall board functions. Four master level faders control fader scenes, matrix scenes, channel momentaries, and scene momentaries. Flash/solo switches select the function of the channel and scene momentaries.

FADER PRESETS: Two twenty-four channel fader scenes allow for individual level control. A submaster fader and momentary pushbutton are provided for each scene.

MATRIX PRESETS: Twelve twenty-four channel scenes may be DIP switch programmed. A submaster fader and momentary pushbutton are provided for each scene.

MATRIX CHASER: A multimode chaser with its own LEDs, provides forward or reverse chaser control of the matrix presets. Speed is controlled by an audio input, speed fader, or single step momentary.

MOMENTARY FLASH BUTTONS: Provided for each channel and scene. Snap action pushbutton can be used in either flash or solo mode as selected by the momentary master switches.

FADERS: Alps 60mm travel, viscous damped.
